Additional Services Available under a Customized Technical Assistance Contract
In addition to the basic package requirements, the TAC will work with the school to provide other identified services as long as those services do not contradict or conflict with The George Washington University’s Freshman Transition Initiative 10-step plan model.
When the Academic Innovations sales and technical support staff are promoting these services and contracts, administrators will receive a document outlining these basic package services as the minimum deliverable. It is critical that our message remain consistent; therefore, the TAC is required to deliver the basic package as a part of their contracted services.
However, the Technical Assistance Contractor is encouraged to include the appropriate following professional development opportunities and support within their final contract.
Optional Technical Assistance Add-ons (this is not a complete list)
- Services of a Technical Assistance Expert
- Focus on Freshmen attendance (per person cost based on the rate they qualify for)
Lead Teacher
Principal or Lead Administrator
- Attendance at a George Washington University Freshman Transition Leadership Institute (per person cost)
- If working with a large district arrange for GWU to conduct a 2-day Freshman Transition Leadership Institute district wide for principals and their teams.
- News release customization
- Final report customization
- Additional onsite days (per day cost)
- Additional phone consulting (per hour cost)
